I've bought a casio QT2100 second hand and was trying to reset it

- Basically at this time the program is most likely corrupted. When you MAC the register it WILL lose ALL ifnormation other than date and time. to use this machine you WILL want a printer and a drawer/base. Then if you can find a Casio dealer in the area you can get them to reprogram the machine. the procedure goes as this
1 turn the machine off underneath on the right side toward the rear of the machine. 2 Hold down the upper left hand button and, switch it on, wait for the screen to reappear. 3 Enter 20000 and press the subtotal button.( third up lower right hand corner and one in)
The machine will go through all kinds of funny stuff like a flag clear and then ask to be signed on. I guarantee at this point all programing is back to default
