    I am not trying to buy the helicopter, I already have this thing, my problem is that I never had one befor and I dont know how to adjust the thing and the manual is worthless

    O.K that sounds good, but on the ballance blades in the picture on the wonderfully discriptive manual it seems that the blades apose each other in pitch is this correct and if so what degree should they be and how do you acurstly check. I have boughten a pitch guage but not sure what to refrence off of to determine angle, is there a simple trick or should I construct a platform with a level beam across what should I do?

    Man I forgot to ask I also replaced tail boom now I set the tail gear box as flat as i could with a speed spaure on a flat surface eyeballing the tail blades at 90 degrees from main is this going to work?

    Thanks man that was very discriptive I don't know why the manufacture could not put that in the manual it seems important to me! I have never heard of some of these terms but i'm sure i will figure it out. One more question how do you refrence the pitch guage, just estimate line of site, bubble guage, ballance bar, and if ballance bar how do I keep it level when I throttle change to check pitch at 75%,100% I'M NEW I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

Read this instructions carefully as follows:---
Start with the radio system on, all trims centered, and all curves straight (0, 50, 100%). Put the collective stick on the transmitter in the center of its throw, 50%, and leave it there until all rod lengths are adjusted and set.

Install the arm on the collective servo so a 90 degree angle is formed from the output rod, to the ball, to the servo center screw. Adjust the collective rod length so the collective mechanism is in the center of its possible throw (in the center of the opening in the frames).

Install the elevator and aileron servo arms at 90 degrees to the output with the trims centered. Don't forget to offset the balls on the aileron servo so the angle formed from the rod/ball/servo center forms a 90 degree angle on each side of the servo.

Adjust the elevator and aileron rod lengths to make the bellcranks perpendicular to the main shaft. These rods should remain at these lengths and should not be adjusted again.

Adjust the rods from the aileron bellcranks to the swash plate to level the swash. From this point forward, do all cyclic trimming with these rods and leave the bellcranks perpendicular to the main shaft. i.e. Later when flying, if you need aileron trim, adjust one rod longer, and the other shorter, but if you need down elevator trim, adjust both rods longer, and the reverse if you need up elevator trim.

With a flybar lock installed, or with the flybar held perpendicular to the main shaft, and with the collective still set at 50% on the transmitter, adjust the rods from the swash to the bell mixers to get 0 degrees pitch at the blades. At this point, you want the washout arms perpendicular to the main shaft, and if need be, adjust the rods from the washout arms to the flybar input arms to level them, but keep in mind these rods must remain equal length.

Also the mixers should be perpendicular to the main shaft, or level at this time, and if need be, the rods from the flybar seesaw to the mixers may also be adjusted to make the mixers level, or perpendicular to the main shaft. Be aware, however, if you adjust the rods from the seesaw to the mixers, you will have to go back and readjust the rods from the swash to the mixers to keep the blades at zero degrees pitch. Use your pitch gage at this point to get zero degrees pitch.

With the swash plate still level, adjust the Flybar paddles so they are parallel with each other, and both are perpendicular to the main shaft.


Now you can set your cyclic throws in your transmitter for your preference, and collective channel end points to get a suggested -9 to +9 degrees of pitch. Just make sure you do not adjust the cyclic or collective such that you get binding in the system. Set your pitch and throttle curves to your liking, with a suggested hover pitch of 5 degrees. Also, adjust your flight mode collective pitch curves for the pitches you desire.

The throttle is setup similar to the collective, use the 90 degree method on the servo at 50% throw, and adjust the arm on the carburetor so the carb is at 50% throttle when the arm forms a 90 degree angle. Then set your channel end points so you get full throttle range without servo binding. When you first start the engine, be prepared to adjust the channel end point for a good engine idle. A good starting point for “normal” throttle curve is 0, 60, 100%, but that will vary with engine and muffler combos.
When you set up the throws on the tail rotor, first make sure you have the direction correct. When you give the transmitter Right rudder, the tail rotor should move in pitch such as to move the tail of the heli to the Left as viewed from the rear.

Make sure you either use the limmit pot on your gyro, or the channel throw if your gyro does not have a limmit, to prevent the tail rotor pitch plate from hitting the post for the bellcrank when you give full right rudder command.

When you setup the static pitch on the tail rotor (pitch at the center), the way I like to do it is put the system so the rotor blades are parrallel with the tail boom of the heli (one blade straight ahead and one blade straight back). Then with the tail rotor such that one tail rotor blade is sticking straight up, sight down the cord of that tail rotor blade toward the flybar, and adjust your linkage so the line of sight down that tail rotor blade points to the flybar paddle on the Right side of the heli.

This will get your tail rotor pitch set in the ball park for your first flight. This setup will work on any clockwise (right hand) rotation heli.

You need to set them in the middle of the throw and as flat as possiable. There fore you will have the maxium throw at 0 pitch. I hope this makes since.

    Sorry. I ment to add. Make these settings at dead stick. Meaning, with the radio on, no presure on the stick and with not trim set on the slide next to the lever.

Craftsman saw mod # 113-298051


The blade is able to be set to different angles by the handle under the front edge of the table. There is a lock handle to keep the angle set correctly. Loosen the lock handle, press a square (90 degree tool) against the flat of the blade - not the teeth - then lock the blade in place.

angle cut blades have the cutter head angled at 25-35 degrees for easier insertion into tight spots. Shear cut blades are light normal scissor blades

Hi, there are different angles for different chain types but 30 degrees across and 10 degrees down are good general purpose angles. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

Need to know how to use this tool Stanley 5-1/2in sliding t-bevel, I am cutting trim molding around the top of my bathroom and i know this will give me the angle but do not know how to transfer the angle...


Hello. It may be simple, but the transfer part catches everyone - yes even me at first. For your application, the trick is to:
  1. pull the slide as far as it will go and match the round-to-round end and match into the angle to be cut/trimmed-out.
  2. transfer the angle to a protractor, and match the angle (now a number) to the scale for "blade angle" on your saw.
  3. should your saw's scale be suspected as inaccurate, match the angle visually with the blade to the item's work surface.

Blade does not square up on c10fsh miter saw


To square up a mite saw blade, you need to eeither move the table or adjust it to be square if it is out in the mitre angle, or if it is out in the bevel angle the whole saw head needs to be adjusted, and this is done via the bevel adjustment at the back of the saw. There may be a bevel stop bolt to return the saw back to 90 degrees if moved to a different bevel angle. Usually the blade itself is not adjusted bu either the saw table or the bevel angle of the saw head itself to correct these issues.

Hello, I think that the problem you are having is called "drift" . each blade will cut different than the last. The way I was taught to cure this goes as follows.
-take fence off off table(or just move over)
-get a good square piece of material appx. 1x3 and mark a straight line about 1/2" from edge the full length of the board.
-with out the fence cut the board along the line appx. 1/2 the length.
-shut off saw WITH board in it.
-use a angle finder along the edge of the board, set angle finder
-remove board and put the fence back on.
-now slide the angle finder up to the fence, you should see that the angle is different than the fence (this is the DRIFT ), adjust the fence to the angle finder( I know that the smaller saws usalley don't have this adjustment ) you will have to find a way i.e. shim etc.

This is a very common problem but once you get the idea it is a easy fix

I took the blade off of my riding mower and didn't note the original position of the blades. How do I find the correct position for the replacement blades?


Dont know exactly what you mean, but turn blades with cutting angle up. Make sure if a star like center on blade is lined up and goes over the star like on shaft and tightned bolts. If it has a tray like blade holder, just put up against it and tightned bolt. The way to remember is to put the cutting edge angled side up.

Aren't there two handcrank wheels on the sides of the saw? One is for blade angle of cut, the other is for depth of cut.

What is the chain saw blade angle?


This is the angle that you cut each tooth. if you have a chain sharpener you will see numbers on it with a line directly below it. A good standard is 25 degrees, if you want it for ripping purposes you can modify the angle.

There shoul be a scale and a crank or screw used to adjust the blade angle on the front of the saw blade feed bushing. Make sure you set this to 90
