Question about Singer CE-100 Futura Computerized Sewing Machine

1 Answer

Bobbin Casing keeps coming out.

This is the entire bobbin casing, not the bobbin itself. I have had the machine almost a year, and have "broken" the casing once already. It would appear this is the second break.... what gives. Is there a way to fix this myself instead of bringing it to the repair shop AGAIN for another month? I can put the casing back in, but after sewing another few stiches it pops out again. Please help.
Thank you

This machine has had 2 different updates for the bobbin case, the second also included a new bobbin visor and the metal bracket that holds the bobbin case in proper position. This sis located at about the 5 oclock position looking straight on at the machine. These new pieces must be adjusted and i am sorry the exact position cannot be explained. It must have just the right amount of movement between bobbin case and bracket. The bracket also must be positioned just right.

The bobbin casing keeps coming up during sewing and causes the bobbin thread to knot up.

you might need to see if the bobbin case needs replacing or if there is a problem with the hook and hook race, you may need to have the machine checked

My bobbin casing keeps jumping loose

it would be a good idea to have the sewing machine checked to see if there is something wrong with the hook and hook race that hold the bobbin casing.. you may need a new bobbin casing.

I recently acquired a Singer Zig Zag model 457. The machine was not picking up the cotton from the bobbin so I took out the bobbin and the bobbin casing. Now I cannot get the casing to fit back ptoperly so...

there are little tips on the 'backside' side of the bobbin casing you just have to wiggle the casing around keepingin mind that the back side needs to fit into place for the rest to drop on in. then you have to get just a little forceful with the the little black brace that should snug the bobbin casngback into place and keep it secure

Have a brand new Singer 1507 that keeps jamming the bobbin thread. Have followed threading and winding bobbin instructions closely, but am still having problems with the bobbin thread jamming after 1-2...

I would try adjusting the tension on the machine - this sometimes causes the bobbin thread to jam while sewing. Re thread the entire machine including the top thread. Also it is recommended to use new thread as old thread can ball up after time. If no luck I would call the store you purchased the machine from.

Bobbin keeps balling up. I have taken everything apart and cleaned it out. I have changed the bobbin and needle. What else can I do

I would suggest a new bobbin casing, yours maybe damaged. Also, you may want to check the tracking under the bobbin casing for any dust or lint. This will throw the bobbin off track.

I cannot get the sewing machine bobbin casing back into the machine. When I put the bobbin in, the casing pops out. Can you help me? I have a 9410 Singer Sewing Machine.

Do you think that it is broken? You can go to and find a new case for $11.99-$13.99. The reason I say this, is because I faced a similar problem a few years ago, I was shocked to find out it was not something I was doing wrong but that it was broken. Take alook at this site and you will see each part for the bobbin case and maybe you can determine if this is the problem

The thread and bobbin are nesting up in the bobbin case

Two things I have found that make my singer ce-200 nest. 1st. When I change threads, sometimes I thread it wrong - always nests when I do that. 2nd. When the bobbin runs out of thread it always nests for me, so I have to check the bobbin often. And I remembered a 3rd thing. 3rd. The area for the bobbin & bobbin casing has to be clean, no pieces of threads, and the bobbin casing itself can move, so make sure it's seated correctly.Whenever I get nesting, I take the metal cover off, under the needle, to get in and clean the bobbin area and under the needle good, before I go back to embroidering.
