Check to see if you have power going to the amp. Battery(+) and Negatve(ground). if those are ok, turn the radio on and check to see if the remote wire(it's usually blue) has power. if you have power on the battery wire and the remote wire from the radio, then there is a problem with your amp. check fuses on the amp if any.

I got a sony xm-460gtx amp I hooked it up in my truck everything was working fine then I disconnected the battery and reconnected it now there's power to the amp but no sound out of the amp???

If you are getting power the amp lights will be on k so I would check your coax cables and all hook ups to the amp. on some radios there is a sub control that will turn on your sub and to adjust your bass mine does the same thing when i disconnect power to the radio.

I have put dual 12 inch subs in my 1999 camaro and I hooked the power wire from the amp to the radicand the subs are working but not to full power. when I go on the radio to turn my subs on it wont let me...

check the remote wire it it needs to be hooked to the atenna power wire on the radio the power wire to the amp needs to go to the BATT. with a fuse make sure your amp is grounded well and less than 18 in. then check your RCA wires after all that then go back and check your sub output on your radio

How do I hook up a sub woofer to my 52wx4 radio. I

You can hook it up a couple of ways.
Depending on how many subs you have and what ohms they are running at here is the chart you need. If your going to run one sub off it the last option is the way to go. Your going to need to find out the power of your subs or else the power could be off and you could blow the sub. If the rms power is higher than 130watts per coil you will be fine. If so there are four channels on the amp and two should show a line going to each other that says bridge. Hook up the positives and the negative of the subs as shown on the amp that will get your max power. If your sub is running at 4 ohm. Let me know, if not thats how you would do it.
Also for the power and remote wires. Hook up a power wire (16 gauge would be plenty fine) from the battery to the + terminal of the amp. Then take an equal or bigger sized wire from the - side of the amp and secure it to any medal part of the body of the car. If there is paint on it get if off. (not on the outside of your car or where any water would be.) Then run a remote wire from your stereo (most the times it is blue and white) to the remote terminal of the amp. This tell the amp when to turn on and off. Your amp will not turn on with out all of these wires. Good luck to you and let me know how it works out.

Sub not working after installing the jensen vm9022 deck

reinstall the factory radio use a digital volt meter to see witch wire supplies voltage when radio is turned on and off, note placement on harness then verify this wire is hooked up on the output side aftermarket harness you may have to jump it to get the maps to turn on. tip you can carefully pull unused wire from harness example (dimmer wire orange white) and move it to the position needed to keep it a clean install .

CDs and Ipod wont play with Alpine CDA-9885

The Alpine has two tigger wires when it turns on. One is an AMP TURN ON wire (blue/white) and a PWR ANT wire (blue) and that wire only comes on when using the radio or an optional HD radio unit ... When it was installed/connected . someone hooked your amp turn on wires for your "full range amps" to the PWR ANT wire. And the sub amp trigger is either hooked correctly to the AMP TURN ON WIRE or somewhere else, it probably shouldn't be... Check it. Amp triggers should all be to the blue/white wire from your alpine. Warning: Alpine trigger wires, are very easy to mess up they supply a very limited amount of power.
