I had the same problem with my Z760. Somehow, there is being extra pressure applied on the lcd display and/or the ribbons. To fix it, start by removing the battery, placing the camera face down so the lcd screen is facing you and take out all the screws. (the two for the top are silver, the rest are black.) Remove the back casing by pulling directly toward you only far enough to slip over the USB port. It will catch on it, you'll need to pry it over the port with a small screwdriver or something. Then take off the casing like you're opening the tailgate on a pickup truck being careful not to detach the white ribbon to the selector dial, and lay it down. Now, you can see the sceen, it's frame, and connecting ribbons. From here, you'll have to find where the pressure is.On mine, the problem was to the right of the lcd screen near the top. There is a screw holding in the frame to the board. I loosened it 1/4 turn and my display worked perfect! You may also want to put the battery back, and turn it on while it's still open and check where the ribbons meet the screen or see if they get pinched in the frame or outer casing. Feeling around the ribbon and frame will let you see the display correct itself when you press/pull the right spot. Overall, it was real simple fix for me. Camera has been busted for a few years. Found it just today and fixed in 10 min. I'm glad I still kept it. Good luck!

It is also possible you simply have a dirty lens; which can also cause this - clean the lens as directed by the manufacturer - it could be a acrylic or a glass lens - what you clean it with, is dependant on which type lens material it is..

Pink and purple streaks

You have a defective CCD. If it's not under warranty, the it's gone, unless you purchase another equal camera with, let's say, a ruined zoom lens and swap the CCDs. But it is quite a bit of microsurgery.

Fuji Finex 800 camera

If it's pink/purple and "streaky", you have a bad CCD sensor. The only fix is replacement of the sensor. This is the main image capturing sensor in the camera. The situation is well documented on the web. It's usually the end of the camera, unless it's under warranty (or just a little past). Approaching Fuji's repair department can sometimes yield a sympathetic rep who'll have it fixed at no charge to you. If you are on the hook for the repair, expect to drop about $100 US.

Washer agitates as soon as it is turned on

Boats, sounds like the pressure switch is not operating right, anyway, start there, look at the picture, its the round one on the left with the hose going to it. It has 3 wires going to it, purple (line going in) pink (to water inlet) and tan to motor. Should have 120V to purple and pink, no voltage to purple and tan while filling. Once filled 120V to purple and tan but no voltage to purple and pink. You can also ohm it out by pushing in on the clip and twisting it off. Should show no continuity from the two outer terminals. Blow into the switch and it should show continuity. I think the switch is sending voltage to the motor. Anyway, check that out first and post back. Catriver
