Question about Compaq Evo N610C Notebook
I go to start my computer and the compaq logo appears on screen as normal then it goes to a black screen with a small white flashing line in the top left hand corner of the screen and then will not go any further......i have posted this before but i got the computer second hand and it did not come with a recovery disk....is ther anyway i can fix this problem without the disk
Try removing all cables connected to your tower, (including power cable, mouse, keyboard, VGA cable, scanner, printer, camera etc.)- then press the power button for at least 5 seconds, this is what we call POWER DRAIN, then try booting up your system again, if still unresolved, power off your tower, then open up your chassis, reseat the cables of your HARD DISK -- try again. if still unsolved, try entering the BIOS, check if the HARD DISK is detected..
