I must've hit something, and when I try to look at the photos I just took on the LCD screen, there is a grey area in the middle that has this info:
Camera: Nikon D40
Metering: Matrix
Shutter: 1/125
Aperture: F5-6
Exposure Mode: Auto
Exp +/-: 0.0
Focal Length: 55mm
Flash mode: (nothing there)
How can I get this to disappear? I pressed everything I can, went into the menu, but I wasn't sure what I was or was not selecting in the "Info Display Format" which I'm not even sure is the right area to be messing around in.
I'd so appreciate this help!

I actually ran into Error! press the shutter release again. And I read in some forum that this could be board problem. I opened the camera and turned the red wheel a little and this would help as long as camera is open. As soon I fix the camera covers back in place, the error re-appears. Now I think this is a board problem and I need to change it. how much would a motherboard of d40x cost.
