Turn off PS3 system..
1: Reset your modem by unplugging it from the main power source.
2: After a few minutes, plug modem power back into modem. Allow all connections to configure
3: Turn on PS3 system.
4: Go to "Settings" then scroll all the way down to "Network Settings"
5: Make sure that the "internet connection" (the second menu) is "Enabled"
6: Go to "Internet Connection Settings" and go through the motions again.
Once connected on all fields, you will be able to connect to the store. If not, check with other friends to see if they can connect. At times, the store will be unavailable for updates and such. You may just have to be patient and give it a few hours. If you can play online just fine with games but cannot connect to the PS Store, then the servers at SONY are down for updates or patches.
