Simpson Aquarius 824. Washes fine but doesn't spin.

It could be power problems or the circuit breaker. The load in the washing machine is not balanced or there are too many clothes inside it.The wrong kind of detergent is being used.

Simpson EZISet 950 not spinning (model no 22S950)

It could be many things. It the load is large and heavy, the machine electronics won't allow fast spin if the load is not even and even the slightest wobble will stop higher spin speeds. Here are a few things you can try. Split the load into two or three and then do rinse and spin.

Other possibilities are a slipping belt due to the weight, or the speed processor on the motor.

It has to be doing something?! If it is just shutting down it is because it is Not draining. So you need the drain pump replaced

Simpson eziset 550 stops at rinse cycle, light flashing

I had the same problem before, but removing the kink in drain hose does the trick. Maybe yours is more complicated but try it.

Hi guys... I've a Simpson eziset 450 top load

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
As far as I am aware most washers have a filter, top loaders tend to be at the back, bad design in my opinion!

Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My simpson eziset605 came up with an error pu now it doesnt spin... i turned machine off and left it over night... tried again it washed ok but doesnt spin... the water drains out but the clothes are still...

PU is pump the drain pump probally has a hair clip or stone or summat interfearing with the **** impeller. if the pump doesnt function correct then it will not go into spin mode.

I have a WF220, 1200 spin washing machine (3.5 years old and very little use) which does not complete the washing cycle. Each light comes on as the programme progresses until all the lights are lit...

You may find that the internal filter is blocked & that by stopping and starting the machine you are giving it extra time to complete the drain cycle. The filter is located at the bottom rear of the machine & is secured by a large hose clip to the bottom of the drum. Try filling the washer with no clothes in & then switching to the drain programme to see if the water drains properly
