How far are you opening the regulator? Try opening the regulator four full turns then light the burners and let the grill warm up by closing the cover...after about 10 minutes check the thermometer...it should be more than 200 degrees...if not, shut the grill off, let it cool, and check the burners for blockages, if there are no blockages, you may need a new regulator....replacement regulators are easy to find at any home improvement store.

What are the operating pressures on an Armstrong Concept 10 scua24 A/C

Didn't help ya huh Wayne?? We are in the temperature control businesses, temperature is what's important, not pressure. The hotter something is the more pressure it has. On a satisfied home, I will say 75 degrees, your evaporator coil should be around 40 degrees. 40 degrees with r22 is about 65 psi. 40 degrees with 410 is about 125 psi. Head pressure, your condenser temperature, will vary depending on the time of day. The hotter the temperature, the higher the pressure. R22, 200-225-240...R410a, 300-325-350. Keep in mind, the hotter the house, the higher the pressure. Hope this helps!!

I don't understand why my 97 Taurus antifreeze Reservoir is running at 200 degrees or better with a 195 degree thermostat.

That is normal, just because the thermostat is 195 that has nothing to do with it reaching a higher operating temperature. 195 is the minimum before the stat closes to heat the engine up.

Traeger grill not smoking

This is a common complaint about Traeger grills. Some people have resolved it with smoke pipes which contain pellets that smolder during the cooking process.

Others use different pellets than Traeger pellets but they void their warranty when they do. For me, Traeger pellets seem to put out enough smoke at the low temperatures I use (less than 200 degrees) but if I get above 200, the smoke goes sway.

When I cook pork shoulders, I try to keep the temperature at 180. In ideal conditions the Traeger will fluctuate between 160 and 200, averaging 180. If I can maintain this low-slow cooking temp-speed, I get a good smoke ring and decent smoke flavor.

If I get above 200, I lose much of the flavor but usually have a smoke ring though not as intense as at the lower temps. There are lots of conversations about this on blogs at the Traeger website and at the Pelletheads website.

Not smoking

Traeger grills just will NOT smoke at temps much above 200 degrees. I have to stand by my grill continually in the summer to keep opening and closing the lid to let the heat out. That also lets the smoke out. I also have turned the grill off and on to try to maintain the temperature at 180 degrees where it smokes best and cooks low and slow. It's less of a problem in the winter months. Then I find myself setting the temperature higher turning it from low to medium and back to maintain the temperature I want.

Our bbq temperature will not reach over 200 degrees

I bought a new Brinkman from Home Depot this summer. I had the same problem using natural gas. I took the BBQ back for a refund. They are junk. It took us 20 minutes to warm up a hot dog.

I just replaced and old worn out built in Turbo with a new model. Both are propane versions. After installing the new model works fine but does not generate enough heat. With all four burners on high...

If you are using a 20Lb LP Gas Tank, rather than hard piped to the grill or you're using Natural Ga, here in may lie the problem. If it is Natural Gas, was the grill converted or ordered for Natural Gas? If not, that's why it' not heating well.

If you're using a 20Lb grill tank, do the following:

1. Turn the Propane Tank Valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2.Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

3. Once the valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn the control knob to HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being on HIGH? If so, light the remaining burners the same way, Do all the flame hieghts look correct? If co, close the lid and allow the grill to preheat for at least 20 minutes. Did the grill thermometer go higher that 200 degrees F. If so, you solved the problem. Always remember to turn the tank valve ON very, very slowly.

If that did not solve the problem, the thermometer may be incorrect/faulty. I had this happen myself, with a new grill. To test it, invest $5.00 in an Oven Thermometer, like you use in a regular oven, It sits on the oven shelf. But, in this case it will sit on the center of the grill's cooking grates.

Light the grill and preheat it for 20 minutes. Loo k at the grill thermometer and then lift the hood and look at the oven thermometer. The oven thermometer may be as much as 200 degrees higher. That's because it's actually reading the temperature at cooking level, not up in the air, where the grill thermometer is.

I never replaced my grill thermometer. I continue to use the inexpensive oven thermometer, because it's giving me the actual temperature, at the level I'm grilling at. And I, do a lot of grilling.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Pleas let me know and Happy Grilling.

I have a natural gas hookup and my grill takes a long time to heaat up (15 minutes) and max degrees is 350 - 375. I found dust in the connection hose blew ut out. Also took grill apart and cleaned...

Unfortunately, that's the way it does on Natural Gas, in an outdoor environment. The reason being, Propane Gas burns cleaner and hotter than Natural Gas in an outdoor environment. Of course, on the plus side, you don't have to get tanks refilled. With that said, the thermometer on the grill may be faulty.

To test this theory, buy an inexpensive oven thermometer (the kind that can be placed on an oven rack) and place inside the grill, when you're preheating it with the lid closed. Once you grill thermometer reaches 350 degrees, open the grill hood and compare it the two temperature readings. If the oven thermometer is reading significantly higher, then you no the grill thermometer is faulty.

Hope this helps you get back up to temperature.

Temp

Not sure on your climate.
But a Holland grill cooks cooler in the coller months and Hotter in the hotter months. This type of grill doesn't reach a very high setting approx: 400 degrees. It might reach higher temperatures in the hotter weather 450-475 degrees.

Also, it has to shut down the same way every time you use your grill.

Here is a Tip to fix a grill that not getting hot:
1. Turn the gas valve knob off. then close LP tank valve knob.
2. Unscrew the plastic hose coupling knob from the LP tank. You may hear a slight "hissing" sound as pressure is released this is normal.
3.Wait a minute then screw the coupling knob back on to LP Tank.
4.With lid open.slowly open LP tank valve.
5.Relight the grill the proper way by turning gas valve knob to ON position while turning the igniter knob at the same time.
6.After you are sure the grill is lit preheat the grill for 30 minutes.

This was called purging the line or releasing the air out of the line.

Another thing your orifice could be clogged with spiders or dirt. If it is LP gas check to make sure your hose is not kinked.

Hollands are known for the slow cooking process and a Healthy way of cooking!
