Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I have a Gateway windows 98 computer and a Lexmark Z 710 printer and I don't know if I have it set up right. I don't know much about computers and I'm not even sure if I have the color print cartidge in correct either
First you shall check the connectivity. If you will closely monitor the cartridge holder you will find hints on it which one is for color and which one is for black. One power cord through which your printer gets power and one data cable gets your printer running. Check online LED on your printer is on. the data cable of your printer (white one) goes to a D shaped 29 pin din female connector on your computer. As soon as you connect it to your cmputer it will try to install the driver necessary to run printer. Just put the CD which came alongwith your printer inside the CD drive and it will install the necessary files for running your pc. Restart your computer and you are ready for printing. If this does not helps just comment back with the problem you are facing.
