I had the exact problem.
First login to 192.168.1.1. If you can't you will have to reset factory settings.
(username/password: admin, admin). Then, go to the top of the screen to ADVANCED. Now, on the far left of the screen you will see a grey list. Go to Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
