Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
The washer filled up and began the cycle and then made a continuous loud noise until i turned it off. It wouldn't drain and each time i turned it on again the sound continued!! HELP!! gotta do laundry!!
Your coupler is bad and the motor is sitting there spinning inside the coupler. If you remove the case, take the two clips off the pump (You don't have to remove it, just push it out of the way). Then take the two screws out of the clips holding the motor. Un-clip the motor. One piece of the coupler is on the motor shaft. another is a black piece of rubber and the last piece should still be on the transmission. Replace this and put back together. This will fix your problem.
