Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

Logitech MX610 left-handed mouse stopped working all together

First time the reset button finally had an effect. But now it does not respond at all, and reset turns the geen light on for a short while, but it is dead. New batteries, it's recognized by my computer (Win XP, plenty of RAM, etc.), but no action.. It is only three months old. Logitech "help" is very poor, and of no help. My second bad experience with Logitech. They're forcing me to go back to MS.

Have you removed the ball and cleaned the optical points with a tooth brush? They build up a grey colored fuzz, don't ask me where it comes from but I've got to clean mine almost every month.

My mx610 logitech cordless mouse requires several clicks to get it's attention. It is also unstable.

The short and quick solution would be, to replace your mouse. That's it. If your current mouse is not working or is unstable, getting a new one may relieve you of future headaches.

Cordless logitech mice interference

Hi!
I think what happens there is that both mice is running on the same frequency. What you need to do is to restart the wireless of just one of the mice by pressing the connect button on the usb reciever and on the mouse. That way it would try a different frequency.
I hope this helps.

Logitech Mouse V320 Corless Optical Mouse not working

The warrenty period is usually a year. Is there a connection button on the receiver as well? Normally you need to press the connect button on the mouse, and then on the receiver shortly there after. If you want to replace it, you might have an easier time just getting a new mouse.

Mouse stopped working, but appears ok, batteries ok, can't determine problem

Is the batteries good. If so try,

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

Logitech MX610 problem.

Hi, I have had the same problem with a Logitech Cordless Desktop setup. The mouse and keyboard had been used in an office environment for about two years, then the mouse would double click unexpectedly, would not hold items when trying to drag them and the right click would sometimes fail to work ...then sometimes it would work perfectly. I tried all the other suggested cures such as cleaning out the inside of the mouse, new batteries and reinstalling the driver which did not prove to be effective. A good clean improved things for a couple of days but the symptoms returned. At this point, I dismantled the mouse and resoldered some suspicious looking joints on the circuit board inside, especially those attaching the microswitches for the mouse buttons. Since then, none of the problems have recurred. I presume that repeated pressure on the switches over time had cracked the solder joints which caused the mouse to behave erratically. You could try this, but dont get the joints too hot or you will damage the switches or other sensitive components. Simon.

Mouse doesn't turn on

This wireless mouse should have a transmitter that is plugged into the computer. Try replugging that in, and if there is a connect button on it, try pressing that as well.
