Question about Air Tools & Compressors
I HAVE A 10 GALLON 155 PSI AIR COMPRESSOR THAT OVERHEATS EVERYTIME I USE IT AFTER USING IT IT WILL BUILD A LITTLE AIR LIKE TO 50 THEN START CLICKING AND TURN OFF I TOOK IT TO LOWES AND THEY CANT DO NOTHING BECAUSE THEY DISCONTINUED THE COMPRESSOR SO NOW IM STUCK WITH A COMPRESSOR THAT BARELY WORKS.
It's the pressure switch. It's either faulty or just out of adjustment. Open it, or some have a handle to turn, and start turning it CW. This should bring the pressure setting up. Test run and do more if needed until desired 'off' PSI is obtained. (if there is a spring with a nut on the top in the pressure switch, tighten the nut CW to increase pressure)
