I changed computer, I have now Microsoft 9 and it is not compatible with my scanner Canoscan 9950F.

You don't need a driver. If I plug my Canoscan LIDE 25 in, it just works (with Ubuntu 9.04). See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=414474 for further discussions about this scanner on Ubuntu.
