Question about FIC IC-VG61 (dhicecube) Barebone

Need replacement specific case fan for this system.

I am in desperate need of a replacement case fan for an FIC IC-VG61. The one in it burned out. It is made by Chiefly and the model number is CCB13898S12M and it is 12volt sleeve bearing. The size is 138mmX45mmX40mm and has a 3 pin plug. Chiefly is in Tawain and I can find no ordering information for this part, although it does list the part on their website. Anyone know where I could get this or have one from a system they are parting out?

    Yes .....

I've gone through the same steps. The Taiwan site is surely weird...there is is no way to order or even ask questions just get data. Anyway, I have one that is not dead yet but is definately speaking to me of leaving this life shortly. Conseqeuntly I have been on the hunt. Let me know what you find and I'll do the same.

The Fan does not burn out most of the time.

if you remove the rubber on the end you can insert bearing grease and reinstall the rubber. rotate the fan a few time and plug the fan back in and it should work.

WHERE CAN I GET A POWER SUPPLY FOR MY FIC IC-VG61 ICE CUBE PC???

I am not certain of the exact model but I know where you can find one.
www.newegg.com has Micro PS3, Mini ITX and serveral other SFF sizes. I found a replacement PS for my Shuttle and it is about the same size as yours.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

CPU Power, Changing to a lover voltage CPU

Hi there
Firstly update the bios, then install the new CPU, go into the bios settings and set them to default, that will auto adjust the computers settings, then you can have a look in the bios again to make sure the voltage is running as preferred.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!!

Case fan won't come on. pulled it and tested okay. What gives?

Yes ...the case fan will no doubt be thermally controlled if it's connected to the motherboard .... and obviously something has gone wrong with the sensor. Have a look round and see if there are any other 2/3 fan connectors on the motherboard you could use. Most times there's the "cpu fn" (we don't want to disturb that one!), "sys fn" and one or more "case fn" connectors, but being a bespoke motherboard in that SFF case you may be out of luck. You've already hooked it to 12v to get it working so it wouldn't be difficult for you to wire it permanently to a spare power connector (you will probably have to cut the cables and rejoin them). However bear in mind that the fan will then run continuously.

Hey, I couldn't track down much info on this one either, . . But i did find these 2 places that are linked to Laconic (Enterprises), one looks lke a 'just starting' website, but nonetheless, it has an email, and contact info, the ebay listing shows a variety of 220W Style PSU's you *might*? be able to check into for a compatible one.

ebay

Maybe these will help, if not, feel free to share any more info with me that I can use to help tracking these down for you.

Cheers.
