Question about Televison & Video
First try reset To reset the audio, go to the on-screen menu and select the setting for audio and make sure it is on stereo rather than SAP (second audio channel).
if still the same problem after reset then its audio amplifier problem as it has lost its connection to power supply so you get video but no andio.get the audio amplifier checked and replaced.many times it gets internall loose so no sound comes.also remove all the wires connected to the tv wait for 10 mintes then reconnect again n checkout.

Did the sound just stop
was the TV off and was working before ( when?)
Is there a series of flashing LED on the On/Off button
But a wild guess is that your controller board on the audio chip has faiiled
