Question about Computers & Internet
I bought a LG Flatron L1720L from a friend. I connected the power cable correctly and I had to buy a new monitor cable to connect to the computer and the monitor, the cable is a VGA/SVGA, is this the right cable? Also, when I connected and turn the power on I get a blue box that says '' Analog'' out of range. What am I doing wrong? I also updated and downloaded drivers for this monitor.
Set the resolution lower.
It is telling you that the resolution you want is beyond its normal operating range.
just drop it to lets say 800 x 600
Then bump it up one resolution at a time until you get the message again, then drop it back one.
Running monitors above the acceptable range can drastically shorten their lifespan.
With lcd monitors you are much better using the DVI cable if yout video card supports it.
