If they are already burnt in, toss it and get an LCD. There may be a screen saver or function that will shift the picture every hour to prevent this. Plasmas are notorious for this.

Is it safe to play ps3 on a Plasma hdtv flat screen lcd?

LCD and Plasma are two different types of T.V.s to my understanding. I know that televisions have came a long way since plasma were first introduced, but most of the time leaving a plasma on can burn the still/moving image into the screen. It is best to be safe and not sorry, and just shut off the T.V. when not in use.

Should i play my ps3 games on my new plasma tv?

Most plasma's to this day prevent the image from being burnt into the screen. I would say yes because it makes gameplay amazing, but to be honest look at your plasma's manual and see if there are any dangers to image's being burnt. If you hook up an HDMI cable and run HD you shouldn't have a problem.

I run my computer on my 61" Plasma as well as my television, PS3, and Xbox 360 and to this day i haven't had any problems.

Hope this helps and I hope you get the chance to play on your plasma! You won't be dissapointed! please don't forget to rate, Thanks! :)

Will the ps3 ruin my plasma

Any still image for a long period of time will burn into the plasma panel, id advise using a lcd or crt television. To avoid all screen burn , dont leave on and on the screen if not playing. Hope this helps.

Playstation 3 and plasma tv

yes it is, the only thing that you need to be aware of with plasmas is that you don't want an image to stay continually on the screen as the screen will burn that image into itself. An example would be if you would use the tv as a second screen for your computer and the desktop image was always on the screen, eventually it will get burned in to the screen.

Will playing my PS3 damage my Plasma?

Yes it may be true although it depends how long you play videogames for long periods of time straight and yes plasma screens do wear off after 3-5 years so honestly..... i would not recommend one.
