-   hey im having a similar issue with my magellan maestro 4040.. only that i have to press the screen really really hard...id say about 15 lbs of pressure hard please contact me if you have a solution...syncscorp77@yahoo.com thank you -   syncscorp77

a reset should cure the problem..turn the gps on (let it boot up) and using a paper clip, insert it in the small pin hole on the side of the unit to reset your unit. if that fails, let me know and we can do something else to get it working. bill
