Question about Computers & Internet
I have a compaq presario model sr5223wm. Upon booting up it shows info and it will get to the point where it says GRUB loading please wait followed by an error code @21 or @22. It will not boot past here.Can't get to safe mode. Can you help? Thanks Edward logue
Compaq sr5223wm video will not work, the computer will power on but I don't get a signal to the monitor, is this a hardware or software problem.

Grub is the Boot sector loader program used by many versions of linux. If you have a DVD/CD Flash drive or external drive attached to you computer, remove it and reboot. If that works, the computer was trying to boot from the removable disk. If it doesn't it would seem someone or something may have installed, or, attempted to install linux on your computer.
If this is the case you either need to complete the install so you can setup Grub properly to allow you to select windows or linux at startup or you will need to Zero Wipe the hard drive and re-install windows from scratch.
