Water filter at inlet hose on LG WM2016CW

I need to replace the little removable water strainer at the inlet hose. It's a small strainer that's removable and is inserted in the machine at both the cold and hot water entrance areas. I cannot fnd this part anywhere. Even the LG parts list for this washer does not show it.

Following a 1E error I found the gaskets in both supply hoses had perished and the debris had blocked the mesh inlet filters, causing the grinding noise that the pump makes when it can't get water. The original LG filters are indeed removable, in bits. Their little plastic tag for pulling them out snaps off so you end up digging the filter out, just be careful 'cos there's another mesh behind the filter on the hot and there's a rubber seal behind the cold one. Easiest thing is to forget replacing them with original parts and get the old fashioned kind from Lowes etc, $2 for a 3 pack, these fit into the end of the supply hose and are a rubber gasket with mesh in the middle so you won't even need to buy gaskets to replace the ones that fell apart.

My husband just replaced ours...he brought the one that came with the washer to Lowes, and one of the employees helped him find what we needed...it was a 3 ok and so we replaced all the filters.

Why not try to clean these with a little CLR lime and rust remover and see if that does the trick....

Mde4000ayw will not get hot after it got wet by the washer busting a leak all on it but it runs fine just cold

check water inlet valve and water temp switch? The item to check would be your water inlet valve. Check it for continuity with a multi meter it should show Ohms or a closed circuit. To test it when water is overflowing unplug the unit and see if it still overflows or continues to fill. If it stops when unplugged. Then it is not a water inlet problem but an electrical signal problem going to ur water inlet valve. Possibly from the panel or board. You can also do a live volt test to see if it is getting the full 120 current, but be sure to unplug unit before testing as this is a live test.
Another test u can do to check the water inlet valve, first cut the water off and remove the hoses off the back of the washer. Then one at a time point the hoses inside the washer tub and turn the water back on. If you don't have good water pressure, turn the water back off and remove the strainer that should be in one end of the hose. Inspect the strainer to see if it is stopped up, clean it and reinstall it. Now repeat this test. If you have good water pressure now, reinstall hose and your problem is fixed.

MY TURBO DRUM 15KG LG WASHING MACHINE WONT START RINSING WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM

WASHER WILL NOT RINSE:
If your washer doesn't go through the washer rinse cycle, the most likely cause is the water valve. What happens is the water valve will stop letting cold water into the washer; therefore, once the washer gets to rinse it will either stop or not do anything during the whole rinse cycle.
This is because when you selected your water temperature, you may have selected warm/cold or hot/cold. The hot water came in and you didn't notice any problems. When it got to rinse, the cold water the cold water won't come in. Therefore, the washer does nothing.

TIMER
If your washer doesn't go through the washer rinse cycle the timer may be the problem. Sometimes the timer gets stuck in the middle of the cycle or won't turn at all. If the washer runs, but the timer doesn't turn, the timer is bad and needs replacing.
Do you have anti-flood hoses leading to the machine. If you do there is probably a loose tube in the back causing a small leak. When the hoses detect that water is still flowing after a certain amount of time due to the leak it shuts down and causes the machine to turn off during the rinse/spin cycle
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

Washer from flashing 1E & leaking

LG Washing Machine Displaying Fault Code IE or 1E WM2016CW WATER INLET ERROR // Water not entering washing machine correctly
The manufacturer has assigned this error or fault code to indicate that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve.

Fisher paykel gwl15 squeal while filling

1. Does the squeal go away if you choose a different temperature, eg, a hot wash?
2. Check the strainers/filters where the inlet hoses screw onto the washer:
- turn off water at the wall.
- start a warm wash to release pressure from hoses, then switch off machine.
- remove inlet hoses and inspect for blockage/debris. Then, place hoses directly into where the clothes go then carefully turn the water back on at the wall to check flow.
- Also check strainers/filters at other ends of hoses.
3. If all seems OK, new water valve(s) may be required. The rubber in the water valves can harden over time.

Kenmore washer water not filling

there is a inline mesh filter at the tap end of the hose but it is more that likely that the tap washer need replacing
it is possible that the inlet solenoid valve is not operating properly
if you have separate hot and cold water hoses and taps then either tap should produce a full flow when set if no taps get a full slow when selected , indicates a problem power board

IE error on wd1484adp

LG's 'IE' stands for '(water) Inlet Error'.

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB

The hot water fills fine but the cold water just trickles in. The screen filters in the hoses are clear. Is there another screen filter on the cold water? Do I need a new inlet valve?

yes, there is another filter which you must clean. turn the water valve off, then remove the cold fill hose from the machine, and there is a small gauze filter in side the vavle from were you removed the hose, using a small pliers, pinch this little filter out, it will be full of limescale, wash it, replace it, put back the cold fill hose, turn water back on and select your programme. you will find that it is now working perfectly.

How do i clean the debris filter

NF = No Fill Error

Check your hose inlet strainers.

Be sure they are free of contaminants.

Turn off the water supply - remove the hose.
On the side of the machine is a small metal strainer which catches debris in the water line.

Remove it using a small screwdriver and clean it.

Otherwise - your water valve is likely failed. (or the CCU not giving it the signal to open) so further testing will be required.
