I do not get any

What is the make / model of the sound system? If it doesnt even play cds it sounds like the amplifier in the unit has probably died, meaning its playing but it just can't get the sound / power to the speakers.

its a common problem of sound tuner gone bad.few components on the circuit board are needed to be checked any of this is gone faulty and that needs replacement. ------------- if the tv is under extended warranty get it repaired by the bose store.if not under wearranty any local tv repair shop is advisable.the cost will be negligible.this happens in all the tv after particular period of usage the tuners in the tv gets weak or faulty so the circuit needs to be checked to replace the faulty part.and yes its worth getting repaired. this will help. ------- thanks.please keep updated.please do rate the solution if helped.thank you for using fixya.
