SOURCE: How do you tighten PTO belt?

i had a similar problem with my mower right after i bought it. my belt was just loose enough to be a pain on cutting i bought a larger pully with the same belt groove and center hole as the one on my deck but in a larger diameter and replaced a pulley on the side(easiest to get to) the belt is still going but does need to be replaced. Keep your original pulley so when you buy a new belt you can swap it back

SOURCE: I need a free diagram of the belt assembly for a

Good luck. It looks like the diagrams are all locked down by Kubota.
I might recommend looking throught the listings of "kubota empart" empart is the parts lookup system used by dealers and there are sites out there that may have kubota listed.

Kubota zd28 mower was running fine put away but now PTO wont engage.

if your saying that pto wont do anything , that's either an electrical short or a broken belt , in rare cases the clutches go too , now if your saying the pto engauges and stalls the engine or makes horrible noises , then that's a bearing , im betting the deck shaft bearings are in need of some serious grease work

PTO lever engages in the wrong position in a Kubota ZD323.

Check and make sure that any links are not bent and make sure that the switch that engages the PTO is not out of adjustment.

Mower pto wont

Check the fuse if it is not blown, then check for power on both sides of PTO switch. If you have power on both sides then check all wire connectors and make sure the ground wire is getting good connection. Check for power at the PTO electromagnetic clutch assembly.

Kubota T1600 slings off PTO drive belts

Not sure, but it sounds to me as though it is simply a belt guide either missing or bent out of adjustment, if the belt is easy to get back on then this is where the issue lies. I hope this is helpful.

I have a Kubota TG1860 G riding mower. the blades have stopped engaging. I have replaced the push/pull switch, didn't work. It clicks like it wants to work but doesn't engage. What else can I do?

belts, solenoid, ignition switch and the PTO, you can hook 12v directly to PTO and see if it is engaging, the ignition switch feeds 12v to the PTO, the switch/solenoid engages with the help of the pulleys and belts, just a matter of figuring if its the belts(or in may cases the tesioner pulley) Hope this helped Tim
