Is it possible to block one individual number on my motorola v170 or do I need to barr all incoming calls? When I tried to barr incoming calls it asked me for a password and I typed it in but then it says NOT DONE! How do I do this?

Motorola has a feature that you can restrict calls, incoming and outgoing:
MENU> Settings> Security> Restrict Calls...

You can Restrict/Allow all calls, address book, none, etc.

Sometime I block a number, I think that first, I add this numer to the directory. Check and enter de correct PASS for this operation.

I hope help you with this. Good luck.

You might have to seem edit to get those features to appear...

    Call restrictions / barring

    Edit Seem 0032_0001: offset 3F: bit 6: Settings > Security > Restrict Calls (1 on, 0 off)

Edit Seem 0032_0001: offset 04 - bit 1: Call Restriction Support (1 on,
0 off) Security > Restrict Calls > Incoming calls > Change
    > Allow : ALL/None/Ph Book

Once you do the seem edits you should have those options available.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

International calls, outgoing, incoming. Etc.you then click on the one you want to activate it.that will get your calls barred.but always remember you can't barr just a number.

I have a Motorola RAZR and would like to block an incoming number

Yes you can block the caller.
Some phones give you the option of blocking a number actually on the handset or.
You can phone up your service provider and tell them you keep getting constant calls from a number and ask them to barr it for you or
You could answer the person calling and tell them that the person they are trying to reach no longer has that number and you would appreciate it if the ceased calling you.

How do you remove barred from a number

Hello,

You cannot barr or unbarr a single number, you can only barr a group of numbers, for instance all international incoming calls, local incoming calls, etc.

To unbarred a group of call,

Go to your phone menu,
Select your settings,
Select call settings,
Select call barring,
Select unbarred all.

And the call will be unbarred.

take care
