The ring is called a "crush" bushing it seals by: (crushing) reducing it's diameter around the supply tube; it can be used only one time as it deforms to seal. each time you remove cut the tube with the old ring off ;put the threaded valve cap with the hole in it (for the tube) threaded side facing the valve on the cut tube; then slip a new ring on the tube and, screw the cap on the valve

How to get ring off finger with too large a knuckle

There is only one solution that will not be painful but you could try placing fat/ oil on the finger around the ring and pull the skin back away from the knuckle to reduce the tendency of the skin to bunch up before the ring and stop the ring sliding off . Other than that use a small triangle file and file a groove across the band ( at an angle ) or angle cutters to nip the band . Unfortunately you will have to get the ring repaired by a jeweller but if you want the ring this is an advantage as a piece can be put in to enlarge the ring size.

I have also found this problem to be coming from the angle stop or cut-off valve in the wall. The rubber washer can come loose inside & the valve will vibrate when used. The angle stop might need to be replaced. It is worth a try closing the valve completely & then re-opening it all the way. If you don't have a traditional angle stop or cut-off valve, then it should only be the fill valve.

Nissan altama 2005 3.5 l v6 problems are running smooth when engine is cold 5-10 min there us a problem with engine vibrations on the stop i get the trouble code which is po0011

Here is the definition. You may want to do some research on the code and the valve that controls cam timing.

P0011 NISSAN Description This valve mechanism hydraulically controls cam phases continuously with the fixed operating angle of the intake valve.

The ECM receives signals such as crankshaft position, camshaft position, engine speed, and engine coolant temperature. Then, the ECM sends ON/OFF pulse duty signals to the intake valve timing control solenoid valve depending on driving status. This makes it possible to control the shut/open timing of the intake valve to increase engine torque in low/mid speed range and output in high-speed range.

The intake valve timing control solenoid valve changes the oil amount and direction of flow through intake valve timing control unit or stops oil flow. The longer pulse width advances valve angle. The shorter pulse width retards valve angle. When ON and OFF pulse widths become equal, the solenoid valve stops oil pressure flow to fix the intake valve angle at the control position.

P0011 code. My car started jurking in the middle of traffic about a month ago. The first week, I replaced the cam sensor and it drove smooth for 2 weeks but the jurking came back. I got the cam sensor from...

PLEASE READ ALL THIS INFO.

MAKE SURE THE ENGINE OIL IS CLEAN AND CHANGED AT PROPER INTERVALS
P0011 NISSAN - Intake Valve Timing Control Performance Bank 1

Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Possible engine lack/loss of power
- Posssible engine rough idle
Possible causes - Harness or connectors
- Intake valve timing control solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted
- Intake valve timing control solenoid valve may be faulty
- Crankshaft position sensor (POS) may be faulty
- Camshaft position sensor
Tech notes Since the Intake valve timing control solenoid valve uses oil flow to control timing, dirty oil can cause the valve to stuck open or close. Before replacing the valve, change engine oil and filter and reset engine code. When is the code detected? When there is a gap between angle of target and phase-control angle degree, the valve will stop working and the ECM will trigger the P0011 code. Drain handle comes out of the back of the faucet and hits the backsplash. Is it susposed to come out at an angle? Not covered in installation instructions.

Yes on this faucet the drain knob is susposed to come out at an angle. There is no way to stop it from coming out at angle.

How do I fix a leaking hot water overflow pipe?

remove and, replace the pressure/temp valve. This valve is for safety and, if it is leaking it must be replaced immediately.
It has a small lever on it and, when you lift it water will flow out, it is a right angle brass valve located in the side of the water heater.

Water is not comeing on when you put it on wash

It sounds like you (or the installation technician) forgot to turn the water on at the angle stop (where the supply line connects into the water supply). If you have a two-outlet angle stop, check the sink faucet to make sure you have water. If you have water, check the electrical connections and the breaker to make sure you have power. These are the main points to check for this kind of issue.
