Limited service

Hi,

"Limited Service" does come up at times on mobile phones and this is due to a limited signal. Sometimes switching off and taking out your SIM card carefully and a soft wipe can resolve other glitches.

But, if the problem continues, try using another sim of different network. if the phone still says limited service, then, it means this is a software problem. You will have to flash the phone for it to come back to normal.

Flashing means you want to reinstall the software on the phone and this will erase all the contact, messages, audio and video file you have on the phone. This done using cables software and computer.

You can take it back to samsung mobile office if it is on warranty.

Thanks.

Lost PUK-code. Now I want to check SIMLOCK from Samsung SGH-B100??

If you are trying to use a SIM card in your phone and getting a message like "Enter Subsidy Code", "Incorrect SIM Card", "SIM not provisioned" or similar messages, then you need an unlock code for your mobile phone. You may get your code to your service provider Samsung SGH-D600 Unlock Code. I suggest to visit Samsung Unlock Code site, they will supply an accurate code with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any network worldwide and don't have to stick with one network.
Hope this is helpful.
Thanks.

MESSAGE ON SCREEN SAYS SIM LOCK BUT NETWORK SAY PHONE IS UNLOCKED

Yes this is the ping pong senario vodophone say it Samsung who have information and vis versa. I believe I would email support@dynamicmarketinguk.co.uk, they charge £3.99 paypal or credit card, but it will cost you this in phone calls if you are not careful nevermind your time, they are honest and refund you immediately if they cannot unlock your mobile. Takes an hour. Good luck

Had the same problem, phone just seemed to be cut off, tried updating the Sim off the Orange site, but phone was too old for it to update. Phoned Orange explained the problem, and they very kindly sent me a new Sim card, free of charge, I could also keep my old number and credit that I had on my phone, and they even supplied a free phone number to register the Sim when I received it. Apparently the Sim card was faulty even though I had, had the card 11 years with no problem whatsoever, strange that it if fine one day then 'faulty' the next, still hat's off to Orange for quickly rectifiying the problem for me. Phone Orange on 07973100 450 give your phone number but not your 4 digit code, then wait to speak to an person/advisor.
