Question about LG 42LC2D 42 in. LCD HDTV
Sounds very much like a failure of the ATSC tuner.
This is typically contained in a module and it may or may not be user replaceable depending on whether the module is plugged or soldered into the main board.
I guess you are getting your received signal from an antenna. If it has no amplifier between it and your set, then the set has failed. If you do have an antenna amplifier, replacing it wouldn't cost that much but if it is not at fault, you will still have no signal.
