Is the water leaking inside the cabinet? or from the back? If from the back it could be the fill tube from the valve up to the icemaker.remove the back panel and inspect the tube.

It would be hard to say exactly where the leak is coming from. However I would recommend to remove the back panel and check your fill tube to make sure water isnt dripping from there. If it is then replace the fill tube from valve to water cup in the icemaker. I believe the part would be 404 then the model of your unit

Water dispenser problem

I would first check the water supply to the fridge, which you may have already done, then I would check the supply in the fridge, if it is in the fridge I would look at the door switch as being faulty, if the door switch is good, I would next look at the water fill solonoid to see if the coil is getting power and is still good, then I would check to make sure the solonoid is not sticking, being full of scale build up or frozen up Hope this helps

Duet front load - water fills while door is open!

This is a leaking solonoid valve.
The valves are located just inside the machine where the water supply hoses attach.
  • Remove the power plug
  • Undo the top lid of the washer
  • The valves will have some internal pipes clamped on their outlets. Remove the pipes.
  • Dry the valve outlets with tissue.
  • Turn on the water supply to the washer (if it was off)
  • Watch the open valve outlets for seepage.

There may be between 1 and 3 valves depending on the model.
You should be able to replace the leaking valve quite easily.

Water dispenser not working

I would first check all water supply's inside and out to make sure we have water at the solonoid, then check to make sure the door switch has power and is working properley, then I would check to make sure of the proper operation of water solonoid, check it for sticking and make sure the coil is not fried. Hope this helps

Check the water solonoid on the lower right side facing the rear of the unit. the water line connects to it. sounds like it might be defective.

My model MZD 2665HEW has started making "half frozen" ice cubes. They have "liquid centers". Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Check the temperature setting for the freezer, since that is a timed operation either the timing is too quick or the temperature is not low enough for it to do a hard freeze.

My dishwater is not filling with water

Check the water supply line for flow, check if there is power to intake solonoid. If you have power during water fill cycle, the solonoid is either clogged or bad.

Dishwasher will not fill with water . It is not a knked hose or failure of water supply

The most common reason for this is a plugged screen in the inlet solonoid. Turn off the water supply, disconnect the water line at the solonoid. Hold your shop vac hose over the open end of the inlet and start the dishwasher. The fill valve should open and you can **** the gunk backwards. Then hold the vac hose over the end of the water line, turn on water and flush the line. Reconnect the water line and see if this worked.

If still no water, you probably have a bad intake valve, or it is not getting voltage for whatever reason.

Hope this helps! Ken

Ice amker and water spickett is no longer working

Hollow ice cubes are the result of poor water flow to the ice maker. I know you already have experienced flow issur since you mentioned poor water dispenser flow. You apparently have a filter clogged, a house supply valve clogged or lastly a clogged water solonoid valve. The filter is self explanitory. You would replace the filter. The house supply valve is next most likely, to test it you would need to remove the supply line at the rear of the refrigerator after turning supply off the turn supply on to check flow. If the flow is STRONG then next most likely is a clogged solonoid valve. To test it you would, with supply connected and turned on, need to locate the plastic tube that goes to the water dispenser reservoir in the refrigerator section. Disconnect the tube at the solonoid valve and place glass or pitcher at solonoid port while someone presses the diapenser lever. If you have poor flow then but had good supply flow, the valve must be bad.
