Question about Biostar U8668 Motherboard
My several year old PC will not. Display powers on shows press
U8668 Bios vC01 on the right will not get past this step.
I cannot enter setup nor boot off of a CD. replaced the coin battery and did not change. I suspect bios may be corrupt, but not sure how to resolve
I just went through this thursday with a Dell inspiron. I was in the middle of a system restore and it just shut down before it even had a chance to begin the restore. I unplugged it and removed the battery the harddrive and the processor heat sink. I cleaned under the heat sing on top of the processor and the bottom of the sink itself. I reassembled the unit and it came back to life. Give it a shot. Try the battery and unplugging a couple extra times if necessary.
