you should see a picture of an envelope in the paper tray area. remove any other paper and align the paper guides to the envelope. If you are using WORD make sure to change the paper type to the correct envelope size.
try using a better quality paper designed for printers rather than photocopy types. Also it is recommended to "FAN" paper like playing cards before placing into tray. Do this to both top and bottom of paper **** to reduce static in paper which causes it to stick and pull in more than 1 page Frrrrp Frrrrp
You can try
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.
Solution 1: Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.
Solution 2: Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.
Solution 3: Press the ink pads down in the purge unit. Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
All The Best: Pineworks
I just bought a PIXMA iP3500. The 1st 2 photos I printed had veritcal White lines. I did a Nozzle Check and Alligned the Print head after the 1st photo printed. The 2nd still had the lines. Then I changed brands of Glossy Photo Paper and tried a 3rd time. This time I noticed that it printed much slower and it turned out just fine. Information says that you should have the settings at "high" not "standard". Double check that this hasn't inadvertently changed back to Standard. Gator
