Question about Canon PIXMA iP4200 InkJet Photo Printer
So I recently replaced all of my ink cartiriges and I can see that they are all full. When I put the big black ink cartrige in it has the appropriate red light on as all the other ones do, but then when I try and print it says one of my ink cartriges is out and I look at the ink trays and the light on the balck one is off!! I don't know what to do...
You have most likely purchased a faulty cartridge.
Replace the cartridge again. If this works, and it's a real Canon cartridge contact Canon and they may replace it.
If this does not work, then the carriage assembly contacts for that cartridge have likely been damaged. The unit would have to be serviced to correct this problem.
