Unit turns off by itself, now won't turn on, shows no D/C power

Initially started turning off by itself but would turn back on by itself. Then it would turn off by itself and stay off but pushing power button turned it back on. Then it got worse and wouldn't turn on: the LED just alternated from amber (off) to green (on) repeatedly very quickly. But, if the ac power cable was pulled, the LED would turn green for a second or two, and if the power cable was quickly plugged in, it would come on. But now it just doesn't come on at all. It's dead. Seems like a power supply issue.

My vizio turns off and on and I cant make it stay off without unplugging it. Any button i push on the remote or the tv itself turns it off for a few sec. I have changed remote batteries-unplugged tv for various times including overnight-re-booted dish tv box and kinda blew hard in the slots in back of tv trying to remove dust. Sometimes it works for a long time then just goes nutz. Do I have a ghost who doesnt like the programs I watch?

I have a visio 32" flat screen lcd that wont turn on anymore when you hit the power button, assume that it is also the power supply.

Same issues, but with the VX37, HDTV model; the unit turns itself off randomly, and will not turn back on with the remote or manually (at the unit itself). It has to be unplugged and replugged. I read somewhere that replacing the motherboard (?) is a solution at $160.00...not interested in spending that. Any vizio tech support on this issue?

Look at your remote. Do you see a button with a "CC" lable on it? push that button. If not, look for the menu button and push it . That should take you through to where you can turn it off. Good luck

Does Visio TV, Model No. M320NV, Ser. No. LAQKGYAL 3200084, have a feature enabling the user to turn it on and off at set times. We need a User Manual. Thanks

Here's a link for the manual
As for a scheduler there is none in the tv only a sleep timer which has to be manually set every time. You can set it to turn off in 30 minutes increments up to 120 min. This is in the menu under Special Features-Sleep Timer.

I've got the same problem. I think we got what we paid for. It's either a power supply (internal) problem or an internal electronic board problem. Either way, Visio charges around $300 for the repair. I'd just save the $300 and put it toward a TV not sold at walmart.

Hi, I am thinking of buying a used Visio L32 at a really great price.

I have never heard of pressure point lines. This particular model of Visio has a lot of problems wih the lcd panel and the lcd control module. Major problems and major expense. In my opinion a very low quality product and I will never purchase a Visio.
