The cmos battery is located on the motherboard, it is round and silver and resembles a quarter, some have a green or yellow jacket that covers a good portion of the battery and is quite thick. It can be located on either side of the motherboard and is usually solded in.

Where is the cmos battery located on a toshiba satelite A105-s2131

There are several access panels on bottom of your laptop. These should have markings that designate what is behind each. CMOS battery can be either behind the hard drive panel or the memory card panel.

Alternatley, you can try this link to Tom's Hardware where someone is discussing how to do on a similar model. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/247842-30-replace-cmos-battery-toshiba-satellite

Toshiba A135-S4527 cmos battery dead

I found where the cmos battery is located. By the Toshiba tech support website , it's next to the PCMCIA Slot, just behind it. To get to it, Take off LCD, keyboard, top palmrest, hard drive, battery, memory, top power cover, switch board, modem, network. and some others. Too many to describe here. Items to remove not in order.
I Have the service manual downloaded already.
