Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Normally this error occurs because the cartridge or printer contacts need to be cleaned to allow the cartridge to be correctly sensed by the printer. See this article for instructions on how to do so. After cleaning, allow the contacts to thoroughly dry, turn the printer on again, and replace the cartridges with the printer on. (See here.) Print the alignment page and scan it to complete the cartridge change.
