Question about Dukane IMAGEPRO 8942 Multimedia Projector
The right half of the screen is always has a blue background
Before taking the unit in for repair, disconnect ALL video inputs. Make absolutely sure that on composite video, yellow goes to yellow, etc. BUT try the different video inputs one at a time( i.e. ONLY have the composite plugged in, or ONLY have the S-video plugged in) I ran into a situation with my own equipment trying to have more than one video source connected. I found that if, on a nice vhs player/recorder, I had multiple video outputs connected, the picture would become distorted. I ended up only being able to connect either S-video *or* composite video--it was almost like the video board was being "saturated" or bleeding over into other modes (for lack of a better description) That's why I want you to try the single output approach from the dvd player. The problem *might* not be with the projector--of course, if I'm wrong you're gonna have to have the projector repaired. Just trying to possibly save you some bucks here.---Rick
