Your computer power up but no monitor display as i understand. My advice is to remove the battery and remove the memory card cover, remove the memory card clean the memory card connectors with pencil eraser and wipe with cotton with alcohol and reinstall the memory card and the cover. Reinstall back the battery and press the on /off switch, It should power up and you will have display. I hope this will help you to solve your problem. Have a happy New Year...
1. Ensure batteries are fully charged & clean the battery connector point in side the battery compartment.
2. Look carefully between the lens and the camera body for any sand, dirt or any damaged etc.
3. Try turning the camera with the lens facing down and shake to dislodge anything stuck
4. Try removing batteries and memory card, wait 5 minutes and refit the battery only.
5. Now turn on camera( with out card ) and see ,if working then fix the memory card & again turn on the camera. If working then fine . Otherwise format the memory card and fix back in camera again & try. Make sure before format the memory card take a back up all photos in your computer then format.
Make sure nothing is plugged into any USB ports as this can cause such issues. If the optical drive is removable, take that out too. If you can pull the memory out, do so. If the problem remains, you almost certainly have a bad system board.
start by removing everything, ram, any cards plugged in, drives etc. Then try and boot it. If the issue is still present, shut it down and remove the heatsink and cpu. I have known CPU's to be jolted out of their sockets after an impact. Take the heatsink off, lift the lever and remove the cpu. Check that all the pins are still aligned and straighten any bent pins then refit the cpu and lock the lever down. Refit the heatsink making sure that the heat transfer pad or heatsink paste is still present and lock it down. Plug the power cords and front panel wiring back in and try and boot it. If it boots, shut down and refit each item you removed one at a time, booting in between each item. If the issue arises again, the last item you fitted is the culprit. If you can refit everything and boot the system up, lady luck is with you. If you still cannot get it to boot after refitting the cpu, replace the mainboard.
Sorry but without special gear, locating a fault like this on a mainboard is a real pain..
A couple of minor things that could cause this is the battery and memory. Try starting without the battery. Then remove the memory and try it with one chip in, then change them out and try. If these don't work, then the problem will lie with the motherboard, and will need professional diagnosing in order to locate the problem board component.

Nothing is booting ......when in earnest I say that is the BIOS screen at the beginning not going too. When you say the lights all go but the computer does not BOOT can you clarify please what goes. Now you say the processor fan does not work I imagine you are INSIDE the unit to know this try pushing down on the CPU firmly with your hands it may have dislodged slightly it can do this sometimes.....Ive seen it happen.
Now for the not booting I need to know what is if any?.
