Picture dark all channels and cannot brighten

Picture dark all channels and cannot brighten using control. Sat connection disconnect, made no diff. Would I need a new lamp? Set 8 yrs old.

Replace resistor RP41. Should be 1.5ohm/2watt. This is the resistor that supplies voltage to the filaments.
