Question about Logitech Z-2300 Computer Speakers
I recently bought a z2300 system. The right speaker and the sub-woofer gives great sound but the left speaker gives no sound . i tried switching the speakers and got no sound at all. so i've concluded that the left port as well as the left speaker are both defective. What can i do? returning it is not really viable because it will cost me a lot for international shipping to/from Jamaica (plus to receive the original unit i had to pay nearly $70 in customs duty). Is there any way i can fix this problem on my own or locally. I've been doing some researching and it seems as if Logitech didnt get this one right as i've seen a lot of complaints.
Did you try plugging in the other speaker into the yellow output. If you can hear music doing that then its only your left speaker that is the problem. Try tapping the faulty speaker into the palm of your hand while connected. There might be a faulty contact to the actual cone of the speaker. I had to open mine up because i had the same problem. It turned out that it was the wires that weren't making contact. I scrapped and moved them around connected the speaker and it worked. I hope that i made some sense out of this. good luck.
