Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

I turned my xbox 360 on and the picture went funny so i turned it off and back on but now i cant get a picture at all what is wrong?

Your GPU has failed , call Microsoft if it is under warranty , if it is out of warranty then try them anyway as they repaired mine after the warranty expired .

check the cords(red, yellow, and white) to see if one of the gold caps came loose.

Make sure that your Xbox is set for HD or regular video there is a switch on the back of the video wire.

your a/v cords may be fried along with the ports... and did you ever turn the xbox OFF before you went to bed? if not, you could have:
1. fried the leds
or
2. overheated the motherboard.

try getting a new a/v cord and check the ports on your tv. are you hooked up to HDMI? if so, you might have put them in the wrong slots somehow or the ports might have been shot.

check the hdtv/tv switch on the xbox side of your AV cable if no try the towel trick toss a towel over it for an hour while it is on then turn in off let cool for 20 min then try again

well it seems that your xbox is well and truely broken. contact microsoft and tell them whats happened and if you have done nothing wrong to cause your 360 to break then they will repair/ replace your xbox for free

Try turning the xbox on and pressing the TV/Video button on the tv or remote a few times and see if the picture comes up.
