Look in your instruction manual. It should tell you.

What size fuse does a singer 2001A take, please

It appears that your machine does not use a fuse, it uses a circuit breaker, which can easily be reset. I found that out by going to the SingerCo site, selecting Support, then Instruction Manuals, filling in "2001" in the box, downloading your manual and going to page 103. Give it a try!

After sewing on heavy fabrics my machine has finally stopped working.

It sounds as though you have thrown the timing out or have a broken part. This will likely need a professional tech.

How to take apart a signer 7430 model

You can remove screws bottom plate, however, unless you are mechanically inclined, I would take in for service. Lay machine back on soft cloth or old towel. Don't lose screws! Oil moving parts one drop good quality sewing machine only and use Singrr lubricant on gears. If you don't have oil or lubricant, you can blow hair dryer 1-2 minutes and put plate back on. Never oil or lubricate plastic parts! One drop oil on shuttle hook, Run scrap to distrubute oil before sewing on project fabric ! Jimmy

I have a Singer Merrittlock Differemtial Feed 14u244 Serger complete with manuals. However, none of the manuals or brochure have instructions on where to oil the machine. Therefore I need lubrication...

Page 40 of the manual shows three oiling points on the rear of the sewing surface to be oiled: two holes in the surface and the pivot point for the arm. These are marked with "2-3 drops"

It is equally important to regularly remove all lint from the cutting blades, around the loopers and behind the covers as lint will absorb any lubricant present. I also clean my blades with a cloth with a bit on oil on it every so often to remove all lint and leave an oily film on the blades.

No info in the book for Huskystsr 219-224 for oiling it--HOW DOES ONE LUBRICATE IT??

Not sure if you want to oil the hook and bobbin area or the whole machine.
The hook and bobbin area is eazy, just put a drop of oil in the Hook. To do this just put a drop just under the bobbin Do this ever 2-3 bobbins and just one drop, not two.
To do the whole machine you will need to remove the panels and lubricate all metal on metal moving parts, but that is usaly done buy a sewing machine teck.
