Interior lights inop jayco pop up tent trailer

I have a 99 Jayco Eagle Tent Trailer and had this issue of no interior lights. I discovered that the kill switch was stuck in the off position. On my trailer, it was located on the inside of the roof about 1 ft. from the end of the roof where the electrical wires come down the black protective tubing. This is on the road side of the trailer.

Rockwood pop-up camper.when i try to use hand crank to put it up or down only the back seems to go up not the front

Hello.

You either have a broken cable, or it may have come loose. Gain access to your anchor points and check the cables. Replacement cable can be purchased "by the foot" al Lowe's/similar as well as cable nuts and such Check the axels and spools powered by the hand crank for anything out of whack, like a broken weld on a cable drum, etc.
Best regards, W/D

Pop up Camper will not raise up when cranked

The cable pulleys will be behind something in each corner of the camper , you will need to remove the wall somehow at the bottom corner , sometimes depending on the model it is easier to remove the outside panel and put the cable back on the pulley then put the outside panel back on , be prepared to damage it though as they can be very stubborn to remove but you can repair it later .

Cable broken

Depends where it is broken but you can buy cable splicing kits that enable you to join two broken ends together , any good caravan supplier would stock them , hope this helps smirf617

Broken cable in older Coleman pop-up camper...how to replace it? Can't see in body of camper where the cable needs to go through to the posts that raise the top.

This camper uses the Coleman lift system which uses a threaded rod that connects to a tracked distribution block to which all four cables are connected and then routed by pulleys to all four corners of the popup.First raise the popup to it;s full height by using automotive jacks and poles once extended securely clamp the poles to the telescoping up rights This IS SUPER IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY. Next get under the camper find the broken cable unbolt it's routing pulley(s) pass the broken ends out the pulley(s).Next unbolt the end from the distribution block. followed but unbolting the cable from in side the telescoping column;carefully note the routing in side the column. Buy or make up an exact length cable of aircraft grade stainless steel twisted wire cable of the same gauge. Reverse steps to re install, take lowering strain on crank make sure crank handle is captured by anti free wheeling device on camper un clamp poles remove, lower and raise top by crank to ensure smooth working. You're finished.

Used 1981 Jayco pop-up travel trailer

Are these the bunk supports. I have a jayco of my own and I know there are lots of slots to put thinhs in so it can be difficult but each model is slightly different and if one support isn't in right than this can damage the frame. I would go to the jayco site and search for the nearest dealer and they are always helpful. But the nearest dealer might be a little ways away as alot of them are going out of business or merging with other dealers. The website is : http://www.jayco.com/php/products/camping.trailers/camping.trailers.php
