Aspect ratio

Bought STR-DA5300ES. Worked fine with 3-year old Hitachi Ultravision HTDV until 2 days ago. Then I had to manually select the aspect ratio for analog channels using my Hitachi remote. Today all my analog channels have black frames (top, bottom, and sides) or black bars (sides) or black frames with grey bars on the side. Even some of my HD channels show black bars. I have 6 aspect settings on my tv (4:3 normal, 4:3 expanded, 4:3 expanded 1, 4:3 expanded 2, 16:9 normal, and 16:9 expanded). Only 4:3 expanded 2 and 16:9 expanded fill my screen. Any suggestions?
