Hi there u also may want to look for an earphone jack socket at the back of the machine, you will find three similiar close to another,
one is for the microphone in, one for the line-in and the last with either the pyramid picture and out going arrow or a symbol of earphones is the one suiting any pc speakers.
if you cant find those three then your computer may not have a soundcard(yet?) or
there are jack sockets in the front.
Do not mistake the CD-drive earphone out jack sockets(down left of CD/DVD-tray) for the Audio out of the whole computer, these will only emit music if there is an audio-CD inside of the drive.
good luck finding the right one...!

It will either be the GREEN one

Or

If you look closely at the jack sockets it will have a tiny picture of a speaker which is like a pyramid with the top cut off and a box instead of the point

I need an instruction manual to hook the speakers to my computer

There are no manuals for speakers. Speaker wires are color coded. Computer sound cards are likewise color coded.
the light green sound card mini plug port is where the green speaker wire is plugged in.
Pink is for microphone.
Black and orange sound card ports are for additional speakers.

Suburu radio wire harness. trying to match up with a new soni deck

Hello uze7, Here is the wiring match up for a 2009 Subaru Forester using the Metra 70-7552 wiring harness: NOTE: The actual harness will be listed as a Nissan harness, but has been used by Subaru since 2007. Also, I'm assuming that your Sony deck uses the standard color code. If not, you should have a manual that lists the function along with the colors. Match the wiring by function, not by color (although the colors may be the same). 2009 Subaru Forester Radio Wiring Color Code: Battery BLUE/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Accessory YELLOW/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Ground BLACK (-) RADIO HARNESS Illumination VIOLET (+) RADIO HARNESS Dimmer BLACK/WHITE (-) RADIO HARNESS Power Antenna YELLOW/BLACK (+) RADIO HARNESS LF Speaker (+) BROWN LF Speaker (-) BROWN/WHITE RF Speaker (+) BLUE/WHITE RF Speaker (-) BLUE/YELLOW LR Speaker (+) WHITE/BLACK LR Speaker (-) RED/YELLOW RR Speaker (+) GRAY RR Speaker (-) GRAY/RED Metra Harness: Yellow ? 12V Constant Red ? 12V Accessory Black - Ground Orange ?
