Problem for Mozilla Firefox

Some pages opening blank. Activity bar says 'Done' in Firefox

Most websites open fine, this one for instance. Some others - notably Demonoid - open on home page, then open blanks on links from that and from my bookmarks in Firefox. Pirate Bay, Giveaway of the Day and most others, including my Hotmail open okay.I have heard there's a trojan that writes to the hosts file preventing access to torrent sites, but as I said, Pirate Bay opens fine.

- Two helpful suggestions. Thanks very much. I've got cookies enabled, so it's not that. I've noticed the loading bar doesn't work when the browser's about to load a blank page. When the loading bar works, the page loads successfully. I'll download combofix and try it out, but I have Kaspersky and Malwarebytes on the PC anyway.

- Hi.Sorry for the delay. I installed and run ComboFix and things seem to have improved. I still get a blank page now and then. Nowhere near as regular as it was, though, so the advice has been very useful. Thanks very much.

I think the browser is not accepting cookies. If a browser not accepting cookies then the browser can restrict some pages. Check the browser settings. There can also be a reason. The adobe reader of your's is not updated. If that happens then the web pages of .pdf will not open. Thank you.

Hii

As Nandini has said ur browser cookies may be disabled. To enable the Cookies in firefox follow these steps:-

Tools > Options > Privacy > from dropdown list select USE CUSTOM SETTINGS FOR HISTORY.

How ever it seems to be a trojan or virus issue, kindly run COMBO FIX on your pc, it wud take 5mins and you will be back with perfect working PC ;)
