Question about kawasaki 19.2V 4 Piece Cordless Tool Kit

Finger Switch To get maximum drill rpms, the finger switch has to be held approximately half way on. If you pull on the switch to the stop, the drill also stops. ie; put pressure on the switch and the drill motor starts slowly, add pressure to the switch and the rpms increase to the normal rpm at half way, continue pressure on the switch to the stop and drill will die down and stop.

Harbor breeze outside ceiling. How do I reverse the direction of the blades?? The remote doesn't seem to have a reverse on it.

There should be a tiny plastic switch, almost invisible, on the side of the fan housing that will reverse the direction.
The switch button is about half the size of your pinkie finger finger-nail.

My cordless drill is running at half RPM. Is it the brushes or the motor?

cordless drills have a switch that allows for more torque at lower rpms si in effect it is a 2 speed drill coupled with a variable speed switch that alters the rpms
If the drill is running I would be looking at a speed control problem at this point I would be looking at the torque control switch

How to replace the brake light swith

The brake light switch is most likely sticking. If you tap it with you finger it will most likely operate again. However, I would recommend replacing it. MOst switches are held in place with a nut on the back side of the switch that must be loosened for removal. Others sre held in place by a bushing that will require gentle pull or a twist and pull to remove

Sometimes the switch goes out (that little thing you held your finger on to keep it running). That's ~$20 to fix. If the washer runs, fills with water and won't spin once it reaches the spin cycle you probably need a new motor.

How do I replace the power mirror switch; 2004 rav4

Gently pry up the plastic around the window switches. It's usually two clips that hold on the switch panel, but some Toyota's window switch panels are held in with a clip at one end and a "finger" at the other end, careful prying on the finger end as it will break. Use the pry and peek technique. The switch itself will likely be held in with snaps or Phillips head screw's. If its the snaps type, CAREFULLY insert something like a butter knife under the snap on one side and pull that side out a few mm, repeat process on the other side without snapping back in the side you just freed. You should now have the switch in your hand. If you ignored the thin butter knife part and shoved a flathead screwdriver in there instead, the snaps are probably broken and will d drove you crazy every time you push down on the switch to hard and it falls into the door panel..

On turning my 6200 on the gps location is showing i am in york which is 107 miles from were i actually am ?? why is this and can i fix it

Try this resetting procedure:

1) Switch the unit OFF with that switch on the button (the one that needs the pen).
2) Now hold the power button on the top with your finger, and switch that switch on the bottom back to ON while keeping your finger held down on that button.
3) Something roughly called the Aragorn Boot Loader will appear and will count down from 5.
4) Release your finger off the power button on the top before it reaches 0 or you will have to start again.

This should have performed a hard reset, and you should be asked to calibrate the touchscreen.

I have a DW958 18v drill and it runs and the bit spins, but if you put your finger on it, it stops. might be a gear problem? How do i fix?

These tools have panetry gearboxs to give maximum torque foe lightweight gearing. A common problem with the older DeWalt drills was the gear selector legs coming adrift. This is (potentially) an easy fix. First of all, the obvious stuff. Remove the battery and press the trigger to release any static/stored power. Undo all the screws and seperate the two halves. Try to keep all the internals in the back half like this... http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/mendingshed/DW958mainimage1.gif

Now check the metal legs coming down from the gear selector slide. They should be sitting through the sides of the gearbox, and located into the sides of a ring gear. They used to pop out of this gear which would stop it being pushed fully into position.
