Washer not spinning the clothes completely

The washer spins the clothes however the clothes still come out heavy and wetter than usual. the belt has been changed and this did not help. The washing machine does not have water inside so it appears the water is coming out.

I have a GE model WWA8955. It has a two speed spin cycle. It doesn't appear that the fast speed is working. The clothes finish wetter that usual

Intermentantly will run thru cycle fill and agitate correctly not always advancing thru spin cycle. When spin cycle doesnt commence it seems to just run pump and not spin. I can hear the timer timing and am unable to get timer to shut off with knob. Will power down for while and then am able to shut off timer. Then other times it works fine

first i was told it might be the timer but I changed that and the cloths still very wet. was also told it might be valve at the back letting some of the water back in and another problem maybe the pump was not getting all the water out HELP

For the the initial filling of the tub, the pump is not involved. The rinse cycle is also done with fresh water supplied by the inlet valve, although the water pump may be running simultaneously to remove the water while it is being added. Try removing front (or top) cover and find the water pump. It will have connecting hoses clamped to it. Check the hoses for blockages first. Then check the pump for any objects inside or broken impeller blades. If impeller is broken, replace it only if possible --- if not, you'll need to purchase a new pump. Hope this helped.

It's normal to hear some water in tub, it isn't normal for the rubber wheel to be hard to turn, you need to replace the pump, they are much cheaper on ebay

Clothes are still wet after full spin cycle

Possible that the SPIN Speed is too low, check the drive, the RPM of the motor. Check for friction of the spindle , check for free movement of the drum. If you notice a change then you will need to reset the mechanism. If the motor speed is low check the capacitor.

Dryer not working. Clothes wetter than when they went in?

Could be that the RPM is not enough for the spin as the BELT is loose or slipping or if the motor speed is less due to a worn out CAPACITOR.
Try with a longer drying time or manually dry to confirm .
Also check if the inlet valve is working at any time during this cycle to we the clothes, if so there could be output from the control panel which could be a suspect.

Check your belts and also check the drain hose to be sure it is pumping the water out at a good pace. Hope this helped.

Why does my Whirlpool washer LXR 7133JQ1 washer not spin the water out of my clothes like it should?

Is the high spin function set? Are you putting too heavy of a load in.. ? The more clothes you put in, the wetter they'll be when done.

I have a whirlpool ultimate care 2 top load washer no spin

Sounds as if the drive hub which the tub is attached to maybe free spinning. Not an expensive part but does require a special tool called a spanner wrench to remove and replace.

Spin cycle not working like it should

If the washer doesn't reach it's proper spin speed, the clothes may be wet at the end of the cycle. Since you have replaced the belt, it could be that you have a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Check for damage to the pulley and shaft and for free play. Also make sure that there are no clothes or foreign objects caught between the inner and outer tubs or something causing friction on the drive train. Hope this helped.

Kenmore model # 110.22632.100 does not spin real fast inspin cycl

turn dryer on & make sure that the drum on your dryer is spinning, this could be a belt issue going bad or if the drum is not spinning the belt has broke. It also could be the lint system needs to pulled appart and cleaned out with a chop vac. It could also be exhaust tube kinked behind the machine.

??? not enough information, what do you mean by this? the clothes are still wet when they come out the machine does not spin at all?
the machines have a set time to drain before they spin usually three minutes if the water has not dropped below a level before the set time the machine will stop, check the drain
Clothes begin to get wetter than before? how old is the machine motor brushes usually last 2-3 years depending on usage when they wear down the parts of the program that put the most power through the brushes can fail first (Spin)
