Question about GE WBSR3140DW Top Load Washer
The washer spins the clothes however the clothes still come out heavy and wetter than usual. the belt has been changed and this did not help. The washing machine does not have water inside so it appears the water is coming out.
For the the initial filling of the tub, the pump is not involved. The rinse cycle is also done with fresh water supplied by the inlet valve, although the water pump may be running simultaneously to remove the water while it is being added. Try removing front (or top) cover and find the water pump. It will have connecting hoses clamped to it. Check the hoses for blockages first. Then check the pump for any objects inside or broken impeller blades. If impeller is broken, replace it only if possible --- if not, you'll need to purchase a new pump. Hope this helped.
