Alfa romeo car

I have the same problem with y car - think its a loose connection somewhere. Try putting the bonnet up and using a wodge of cloth wiggle it around in the bonnet catch hole. That worked for me - it hardly ever comes up now, and as I know for a fact the bonnet is fully closed I don't worry about it anymore.

However - I also have a prob with my 1998 GTV - which I only bought a few months ago. I've been having problems with the interior fan only working intermittently since I bought it but I could cope with that because it would always come on 5 mins into a journey. Then last week it stopped working altogether (apart from 2 recent 45 min journeys when it came on 40 mins into the journey!!). I now haveto drive round with both windows open to demist the windscreen, which fogs up each time I get out at the end of my journey. I've looked at both fuseboxes and they seem fine - I'd prefer to see if we can fix it ourselves as a visit to an alfa specialist will probably cost a fortune - any help/ideas would be appreciated!
