Webcam on Aspire One Netbook stopped working - no device found. Looked to re-install drivers but Acer Website only lists Windows OS. I have Linux Lite

The device you have in your Netbook is for windows OS only.. if you don't have a driver for it you chance your OS into windows if you want the device working..
